Here we are in 2010, looking much younger. And not just the kids.

In 2022, FCB NY was ranked the #5 most awarded agency in the world at Cannes. Not only was the work recognized it was effective as well, garnering EFFIEs for Michelob Ultra, Flonase and the anti-smoking campaign “The Real Cost” for FDA, and continuing to prove how creativity truly is an economic multiplier. He has served on many high-profile juries, most recently at AICP, 2024 Jury President at D&AD and 2025 Cannes Lions.

Pre-pandemically speaking, he was at BBDO New York, responsible for the transformation of the GE brand around the world, melding seamless storytelling and big platform ideas into business-changing solutions for the global giant. Which sounds fancy. But basically, his job was to take a super-complex company and simplify it down to something that even he could understand. Similarly, on Visa, Michael led a global 26-interoffice agency group, where he oversaw and collaborated on all brand creative.

During his 10+ years at BBDO NY, Michael created a singular culture, a micro-agency within the larger agency model, where his 30+ person group was entrusted to make wildly creative and equally effective work for those aforementioned clients, as well as for KIND Snacks, American Family Insurance and Belvedere vodka. Furthermore, Michael has contributed and led work for Mars brands, AT&T, FedEx and more - including co-leading the agency’s global Ford Motors win.

In fact, Michael worked at BBDO during two prior stints, was ECD at atmosphereBBDO and has freelanced all over NYC. Before that, he was a copywriter at the now-defunct Jordan/McGrath. Before that, he was a dishwasher at Friendly’s.

In 2010, he wrote and directed an independent feature film titled TURNING GREEN starring Oscar-winner Timothy Hutton. The film received theatrical distribution and was featured on Showtime, as well as all streaming outlets. His second feature film, titled MIX26, is currently in turnaround hell. Most of all, Michael is quite proud of his incredible wife, Jessica, and of his twins Juliet and William, who are now starting to discover just how incredibly embarrassing and uncool he really is.

Hi.

Michael is the Chief Creative Officer at FCB NY, the #1 Agency in the world in 2025 at One Show, D&AD, Clios and ADC and Craft Agency of the Year at Cannes. In ‘23 and ‘24, the agency was also ranked #1 globally and named WARC’s Most Effective Creative Agency in the world. The agency has been building similar industry accolades in prior years since Michael began his stint in 2020.

It was under Michael’s creative leadership that FCB NY created industry-leading work for AB InBev’s Michelob ULTRA, Spotify and Pringles as well as garnering new business wins for Intuit’s QuickBooks, Budweiser, Listerine, Kenvue, Verizon, Hyundai, The Gates Foundation and the New York Mets. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Fast Company and, in 2023, was awarded the agency’s first-ever EMMY. In 2024, FCB NY won their second-straight EMMY. Michael has been named to The Adweek 50, honoring “media, marketing and tech’s indispensable stars,” although some days he feels more dispensable than others.
