THE MESSAGE
Everybody loves a "feel-good” story, something warm and fuzzy that just makes us feel all cozy inside. This podcast, about a mysterious audio message from beyond (that just happens to kill the people who listen to it) is not that story. But as creepy as this all sounds, GE’s The Message managed to become the #1 podcast in the world and stayed there for months. Neil deGrasse Tyson recently called it “a brilliant series.” And Neil deGrasse Tyson, despite some personal missteps, is a very smart man.
Fast Co. wrote about it glowingly. The Atlantic liked it too. Highbrow!
After the #1 success of The Message, we followed up with an all-new story for GE's Podcast Theater. Called life/after, our story poses the question: what happens to our social media feeds when we die? And what happens if those remnants of the deceased fall into the wrong hands? Do they become a cherished memory? Or an insidious and addictive reminder of past lives and loves? And will I stop asking questions now?
Fast Co. wrote a nice article about it.
